What is Strumenti del Tempo
A repair and restoration workshop for luxury watches. Italian by roots, international by experience, artisanal by method.
We do not sell new watches. We give life back to those that already exist: family heirlooms, collection pieces, watches with sentimental value.
What we do
- Complete service of mechanical and automatic movements
- Case and dial restoration with respect for the original patina where desired
- Component replacement with original parts when available, certified technical equivalents otherwise
- Lubrication with modern high-quality oils (Moebius, Lubeta) for decade-long longevity
- Chronometric regulation in all positions
- Water resistance restored with actual pressure testing

Consolidated experience with: Rolex, Omega, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Panerai, Patek Philippe (preliminary service with escalation to authorized center for complicated movements), Cartier, Breitling, TAG Heuer, Tudor, Longines vintage, Universal Genève, Movado, Eberhard.

Work philosophy
Three non-negotiable principles:
- Diagnosis before the quote. We open the watch, evaluate, and write. Only then do we propose the intervention. Never blind quotes.
- Full transparency. Photos of the movement before and after, list of replaced components, written warranty.
- Respect for the piece. If a watch is not worth the intervention, we say so. We do not push unnecessary repairs.
Turnaround times
A standard complete service takes 3-6 weeks. Complex restorations: 2-4 months. We work without rushing because well-done work cannot be recovered with speed.
Warranty
All interventions are guaranteed 24 months on labor and replaced components.
