For years, in our workshop, we have repaired and restored watches that have crossed generations. And every time the same question returns, addressed to us and to those who wear them: what makes a watch truly yours?

Not the brand on the dial. Not the price. It is the bond: what happens when an object stops measuring time and starts telling it. Yours.

From this question the Strumenti del Tempo editions project is born: watches built ad hoc, in numbered mini-series, made to last. Made to be worn every day, and to be told.

The project

Each edition is a project of its own: the movement, the components and the dial are chosen and crafted around a precise idea, never a catalogue, never mass production.

Selected components

Movement, case, crystal and strap chosen according to the series project: the best components for that edition, not the easiest to source.

Custom dials

Every dial is designed for the series: indices, colours, hands and details conceived together, even with elements that speak only to those who can read them.

Numbered mini-series

Limited and numbered runs: each piece carries its number and a certificate. When a series closes, it does not come back.

Engravings and references

A date, a name, a phrase, on the case back, on the side of the case, hidden in the design. Details that make the piece unrepeatable: yours alone.

How it is made

From desire to the numbered piece

  1. It starts with the idea. Tell us what you want to wear or give: everyday use, an occasion, a company, a passion.
  2. It becomes a project. Together we define the series: aesthetics, movement, components, dial, and the meaning it must carry.
  3. The marks are added. Engravings, numbering, visible or hidden references in the design.
  4. The mini-series is born. Numbered, certified pieces, bearing the Strumenti del Tempo name.

How it works

When does the first edition come out?

The first series is being defined: those who leave their interest are notified in preview and can reserve a numbered piece before public opening.

Can I customise the watch?

Yes: dials and engravings are made ad hoc for each series. For individual or corporate requests we evaluate a dedicated project, tell us in the form.

How much does a piece cost?

It depends on the series project (movement, components, craftsmanship). Each edition has its own price list, communicated in preview to subscribers.

Are they collectors' or everyday watches?

Both: they are born to be worn every day, with solid components and watchmaking care, but they are numbered pieces to keep and hand down.

What does "hidden references" mean?

Details in the design readable only by those who know them: a date integrated in the dial, an inner engraving, a combination that tells your story, invisible to others, evident to you.
